Hiiiii,
Yes, it's been a minute (years), but I am still writing! Just took some time to hunker down and figure out my writing goals.
TLDR: a second book of poems AND a post-apocalyptic short story available now!
"Don't Leave The Road: A Post-Apocalyptic Short Story" (available wherever you get your ebooks!)
I released a second book of poems in January of this year, "The Dragon Learns To Love Herself." This one is much sillier (it does contain adult content). I had so much fun playing with imagery, investigating what "love" means to me, determining what I'm searching for (if I'm searching at all!), and figuring out that sometimes the love I'm looking for can be found within myself and in my best friends. It is HEAVY on the sarcasm if you like that sort of thing.
One review called it a "love letter to love." (Thank you, Bethany!) And I truly think that's the best way to summarize my second book of poems.
Sometimes you need to raze some villages before you find inner peace.
Sometimes you grow up and get divorced and write a heartfelt book of poems from the deepest place of pain.
Other times you write a book of poems because of some silly crushes one after the next after the next after... the next. Failed talking stage after failed talking stage, you just have to be a little sarcastic and laugh at yourself.
Along the way, hopefully, you learn that the love you were looking for all along was within you the whole time. I hope while you look for love, you also remember to laugh.

Subtitle: A Book Of Poems
I wrote a post-apocalyptic short story. Happy Belated Halloween! If you love zombie apocalypse stories with characters of questionable morals, you'll enjoy this one. "Don't Leave The Road" is available wherever you purchase ebooks!
Wandering the road in a post-pandemic world, our main character has been successful on her own, but when the opportunity arises to join a community, who will she choose to be?
What does she value most? Her own life? Those closest to her? All of humanity? Or will she embrace the monstrous world she lives in?
This post-apocalyptic short story horror begs the question: what if the monsters are closer than you think?

In the sky is an image of the back of a person looking slightly over their shoulder, they are wearing a brown jacket with hood up, vest, and gas mask.
Over the water is the title, subtitle, and author name:

Next projects:
I am currently drafting romance novels!! I have a few in the works and I'm hoping to start publishing 2026/2027. My goal is to have a whole bookshelf full of stories and I hope you'll read along.
Thanks for reading!
